15 Eagle members made the trip to West Cork last Friday, 28th June to take part in the annual Courtmacsherry to Timoleague 10k.

Alan O Brien had a brilliant run, winning the race comfortably in 31.58.

Aswell as Alan, a number of other club members also picked up prizes on the night. Richard Piotrowski was 1st M60 in a time of 43.21, David O Callaghan was 1st M50 with 43.39, and Derek Costello picked up a prize for 2nd M50 finishing in a time of 44.32.

Well done to all members who took part. A great spot for a 10k race. The cakes afterwards were nearly worth the trip down alone! (See photo below for proof!)
