At the recent club AGM, our long time treasurer Kevin Sievewright stepped down from the post after many years of service.

Club chairman Colin O’Herlihy marked the occasion by presenting Kevin with a small gift.

Ray Harrington now takes on this important club role.

The new year kicked off with big numbers turning out for the many training sessions. As well all the long runs at the weekends, we had a large turnout for the track sessions on Tuesday evening at CIT and the Thursday evening tempo sessions in Rochestown.

The club strength & conditioning sessions have also started for members.

Evening all

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas & New year!

Welcome back, kinda tough to get back into it after all of the Christmas excitement has passed, I’m sure all of those New Year’s resolutions will kick in some time next week! Some great Eagle results from the Christmas races below too, well done to everyone involved in races over the past couple of weeks!

The next important date for your diary is Wednesday the 16th January, when we have our Club AGM in the Imperial Hotel on South Mall. It is really important that we have as many members as possible at the AGM so please do try to attend. Plans will be discussed for the year ahead along with the clubs progress over the past year, and you get tea/ coffee & biscuits too! Look forward to seeing you there!

The clubs annual 5 mile road race in Carrigaline is coming up this year on Sunday the 17th of February 2019.
