Track & Field News…
The Munster Senior & Masters Track & Field Championships took place at Waterford RSC last Sunday 31st July and Eagle AC was represented by Pat Murphy and Keith Burke. The trip proved to be successful as both Pat & Keith brought home Bronze medals. This brings our club’s 2016 track & field medal haul total to 14 following earlier podium placings at the Munster Indoors Masters in January and the Cork County Masters in May.
Pat finished 3rd in the M55 1,500m in a time of 5:42.48, taking 15s off his winning time at the Cork County Masters last May. Keith took Bronze in the M35 400m race with a time of 62.16.
