Half Marathons abroad: Two members undertook half marathon races a little further afield this week. Congratulations to Pat O Connor who achieved a podium finish in the Lake Merced Half Marathon in San Francisco. Pat was third man across the line in a time of 1:22:01. Well done also to Ed Fitzgerald who continued his quest to run a half marathon every month this year. Ed ran the Bežecký klub Spartak Medzev Half Marathon in Slovakia, clocking a time of 1:46:51.
