The Munster Masters Cross Country Championships were held this year in Watergrasshill, Co.Cork. With a venue just ‘up the road’ so to speak, the club made a concentrated effort to get as many as possible out for the event. On the day, the club had probably the largest turnout of any club in Munster with 23 members taking part…16 men and 7 women.

For the club, it was also a record attendance as we never had so many entered for a cross country race before.

The womens race was over a 4 km course with 66 runners taking part. Eagle AC made up about 10% of the field.

In the womens F35 category, Deirdre Nagle finished in second place to take a Munster Silver medal! She was also part of the Cork F35 team that took Gold.
