The Cloughduv 5k attracted a crowd of 366 people last Thursday. Well done to our two Eagle participants Pat and Ruairi. Pat claimed a podium spot, finishing 3rd male overall, still going strong even after his 2.52 Marathon in Cork!

Track Field News by Keith Burke
The Munster Senior Masters Championships took place at C.I.T. last Sunday 11th June. In challenging windy conditions, the Eagle team performed well and brought home three medals. Performance of the day goes to Richard Piotrowski who took Gold in the M70 3,000m in a time of 12:07.81. Well done Richard! To put the performance in perspective, this time would also have won the M65 category by over 45 seconds.

Elsewhere, Pat Murphy repeated his achievement of last year in taking Bronze in the 1,500m in a time of 6:02.55 and Keith Burke managed a Bronze in the M35 400m.
