The annual Courtmacsherry 10k was on last Friday night, June 24h. 10 members made the trip with Alan O’Brien finishing 2nd overall in a remarkable 34’03 and several others placing in their categories including 1st M50 Ronan Boland & 1st M60 Richard Piotrowski.

Annmarie Power…Ironman Triathlon in 10h 22m

Ironman Austria: Many of our members take part in various triathlons all over the country and abroad, and obviously including results here is not feasible. However, special mention must go to Annemarie Power on her amazing achievement last weekend. Undertaking her 2nd Ironman competition, Annemarie completed the event in 10hr 22 mins, a huge improvement on her time there last year. After swimming approximately 2 miles and cycling 180km, Annemarie ran a fantastic marathon time of 3:37.
