At the end of June, Athletics Ireland recently released their membership figures as they stood at the start of that month. It now shows that Eagle Athletic Club has a record 178 members as compared to 162 members at the end of December 2013.

With several months in 2014 to go, there are likely to be more members joining once the summer is over and the long bright evenings come to an end. In terms of adult membership, the club is still one of the largest in Cork City and County.
